Market season is coming, which means Medicine Makers production is officially in full swing. Today was one of those days where I looked up and realized just how much I’d gotten done—sugar scrub bars packaged, Arnica CBD rollers bottled and labeled, magnesium sprays bottled, CBD bath salts made, milk bath tubes filled, and a whole batch of lavender bath bombs finished. Tomorrow we move on to orange bath bombs and keep building from there.

There is so much work that happens before you ever see our little booth set up at an event. Making, pouring, measuring, bottling, labeling, packaging, cleaning, organizing, counting inventory…and then doing it all over again. I’ve been slowly stocking ingredients, improving the booth, bringing back old favorites and getting ready to take Medicine Makers into a much bigger market season. It feels really good to look around tonight and actually SEE the shelves starting to fill.

I’m tired, my kitchen has definitely seen better days, but I’m proud. Every bottle, bomb, tube and jar sitting there represents me putting another little piece of this business together by hand. I cannot wait to get Medicine Makers back out there and see you all at the upcoming events.

We can’t believe this will be our FOURTH Blackberry Festival! Every year we leave with full hearts, new friends, and conversations we’ll remember long after the tents come down.
