Emerging research continues to explore how RF-EMF may interact with the body, including potential effects involving oxidative stress, reactive oxygen species (ROS), cellular signaling and inflammation. Increased inflammation and cellular damage can also mean more fluid, proteins and cellular debris for the lymphatic system to transport and clear.

Can toxin load affect lymphedema?

These plugs are great for anyone with EMF sensitivity or MCAS. Highly recommend these if you have anything plugged in by your bed. You can also buy the testers to see if you have dirty electricity. EMF can cause mast cell activation which can in turn contribute to tissue swelling, and if you already have lymphatic congestion, inflammatory conditions, or Lymphedema this is definitely one of my top recommendations.

Creating a cleaner environment starts with what we can’t always see. Greenwave filter plugs are designed to reduce “dirty electricity” or electrical noise (EMI) traveling through building wiring, an easy plug-in option for reducing this type of electrical pollution in your home or workspace.

Tools can be a great addition to your lymphatic therapies when used correctly. The lymphatic vessels are directly under the skin, so using a somewhat light pressure is important. The beads on this tool are soft and not aggressive on the tissues. This is one of my fav tools to use for home care because of how easily it can bring movement to the back and neck.

Consistency matters with lymphatic therapy because the lymphatic system responds to patterns, not one-time treatment.

Many people expect one session to “fix” years of inflammation, swelling, fibrosis, fluid stagnation, stress overload, or post-surgical congestion. In reality, the body often requires ongoing support, especially when there are chronic inflammatory or nervous system components involved.

This is why treatment plans, home care, hydration, movement, breathing, and proper clinical guidance are important.

The goal is not temporary symptom relief alone. It is supporting long-term function and reducing repeated congestion patterns over time.

Not all lymphatic work is the same, and not all approaches are appropriate for medically complex cases. Proper understanding of lymphatic anatomy, organ function, inflammation, contraindications, and tissue response matters.

Use an anti microbial wound spray to clean the area and break down biofilms that can slow down healing. Skin care is essential! Use a scent free/dye free barrier repair lotion/cream daily. To hold wound pads in place for lymphorrhea (leaking lymph fluid) safely, use a soft cotton stockinette sleeve or low-stretch compression wraps. Avoid standard sticky tape because it can easily tear fragile skin affected by lymphedema. These adhesive free bandages and wound spray are also great for post op 😊
