🎉👏 HAPPY RETIREMENT, SHANE! 👏🎉

After being part of our Group Supported Employment Program since 2022, Shane is officially hanging up his work hat and heading into retirement! 🎊

Shane always brought a great attitude, plenty of laughs, and a personality that could brighten anyone’s day! 😄 One thing you could always count on was Shane making his rounds to say hello to every staff member before starting his workday. And let's not forget his famous charm—Shane always had a way with the girls! 😉❤️

We're so grateful for the memories, friendships, and fun times Shane has shared with us over the years. While we'll miss having him at work, this certainly isn't goodbye! We'll still be seeing Shane at Special Olympics and other events and functions.

We couldn't be happier for Shane as he begins this exciting new chapter!

Congratulations, Shane! Enjoy every minute of your well-deserved retirement! 💙🎉

🎉🩷 WE ARE SO PROUD TO ANNOUNCE – SUZIE BAHENSKY IS OUR SEPTEMBER 2026 EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH! 🩷🎉

Suzie consistently goes above and beyond for both our members and her team. She is dependable, caring, flexible, and always willing to step in when additional support is needed. Whether adjusting her schedule, helping her coworkers, or simply recognizing where she can make a difference, Suzie can be counted on to be there.

One of Suzie’s greatest strengths is the way she supports our members while respecting them as individuals. She takes the time to understand their choices, preferences, and routines while encouraging independence and helping them be active participants in their own lives. Her approach reflects the heart of “Nothing About Them, Without Them” and our commitment to the individuals we have the privilege of serving.

Suzie also brings that same level of care and commitment to her team. She communicates well, adapts when needs change, and steps up when others need support. Her dependability, flexibility, and willingness to help make a meaningful difference for both our members and her coworkers.

Thank you, Suzie, for your dedication, compassion, flexibility, and commitment to New Horizons Center. Your willingness to go above and beyond for our members and your team does not go unnoticed.
