It’s Business of the Year nomination time again!
For the past 2 years, Sequoia Mountain Apothecary has been honored as Runner-Up for Business of the Year! 🎉
This year has been an especially difficult for us personally and for many small businesses, & sadly, we’ve had to watch several businesses in our community close their doors.
Through it all, we’ve remained committed to keeping ours open & continuing to show up for our community in every way we can.
We’ve mentored and supported some of the small businesses & vendors you now see throughout our community. We offer entrepreneurship and mentorship opportunities for both adults and youth. We continue to teach workshops, we created and built the Lake Isabella Community Farmers Market while supporting other swap meets & vendor fairs, we participate in community events, we donate and serve (too much sometimes). We travel to teach through historical reenactments, preserving traditional remedies, plants, self-sufficient skills & the old ways of the West.
For us, being a local business has always meant investing in our community, caring for the people who live here. If you remember in 2023 we even put ourselves on the news to work with the local government to get 2 buildings demolished in Lake Isabella that had become a serious hazard. When we say we will do something we do it with integrity and pride for the KRV. We have loved creating opportunities for others & passing knowledge on to the next generation. It's our passion.
