It’s Physician Assistant Week, and we’re taking a moment to recognize an incredible group of PAs who are such an important part of FOA.

Our PAs do so much more than help keep our clinics and operating rooms moving. They answer questions, explain what comes next, celebrate progress, calm nerves, solve problems and make sure our patients feel cared for throughout their orthopaedic journey.

They are trusted partners to our physicians, an important resource for our staff and, most importantly, a familiar face for so many of our patients.

Thank you Henry, Ashley, Tyler, Ryan, Kristen, Jenny, Yasmine and Olivia for the knowledge, compassion and dedication you bring to FOA every day. We’re grateful to have each of you on our team.

FOA was proud to sponsor the Council on Aging’s Dancing Through the Decades, a fun evening supporting an important cause right here in our community.

Funds raised through sponsorships, ticket sales and auctions help provide Meals on Wheels, In-Home Services and other vital programs for some of the most vulnerable seniors in our area.

At FOA, helping people stay active and independent is at the heart of what we do, which makes supporting the Council on Aging and the seniors they serve especially meaningful to us.

From managing joint pain and arthritis without surgery to understanding when joint replacement may be the right next step, FOA physicians recently shared treatment options and the latest advances in robotic-assisted surgery with residents at Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach and John Knox Village in Orange City.

A look back at a great week at WCI 2026!

Dr. Waldbaum, Dr. Watts and Kate Perkins represented FOA alongside our fellow Orthopedic Solutions Management (OSM) partners at this year’s Workers’ Compensation Institute Conference.

WCI was a great opportunity to learn, connect with our workers’ compensation partners and spend time with colleagues from across the OSM network.

It was a great few days of collaboration, strengthening relationships and sharing how we can work together to provide better access and coordinated orthopedic care for injured workers.
