Our Mission
To help determined people achieve mobility through knowledge, technology, and support of prosthetic and orthotic practitioners and their patients change around the world. Imagine trying to go to the grocery store with only one leg or on a very painful and feeble prosthesis, now imagine doing it from a distant mountain village where you have to trek to gather your daily needs. Nepal and
many other countries around the world need our help to provide timely, modern and quality prosthetics at a low cost. We’ve answered that call with The Namaste Liner, developed by Operation Namaste, it is a new method of fabricating silicone prosthetic liners-.an component integral but routinely corroded as it is the barrier between limb and prosthetic. The Namaste liner could mean the difference between limb wounds rendering your prosthetic useless until healed and unable to grab groceries or go to work. Operation Namaste has implemented a comprehensive solution to address the barriers of tariffs, access to silicone and industry limitations. That’s why we are focused on developing countries to lower the cost of this modern care and make them immediately available to those in need. Here’s the best part:
Through collaborative efforts, the home country receives:
3-D printed Namaste Liner molds sized according to the needs of local amputees
Raw Namaste Liner Silicone
Training on modern silicone liner methods
CONTINUED SUPPORT via our crafted software
A self-sustaining industry within the home country and autonomy will serve as the ultimate goal
Our model is already working. We use 3D printed molds and medical grade platinum cured silicone to make long lasting liners in a sustainable way while also providing the clinical knowledge and understanding to effectively fit patients with the liners to ensure success. Our software allows any doctor with a phone, ipad or computer to fit someone for their prosthetic and is already serving as an educational platform for prosthetic students in North America. This gives clinicians in developing countries access to a vital resource to help the people of their country. We have successfully implemented our fabrication system in Nepal and Ecuador and now have plans to offer it to amputee's globally. We need YOUR help to scale this program up and help more amputee's return to work. Make your donation go twice as far. One of our wonderful donors has put $25,000 to match every dollar you donate. Please help in providing prosthetic technology to everyone worldwide. https://www.operationnamaste.org/
