The crystal singing bowls I’m currently traveling with resonate with three powerful energetic centers:

💜 Crown Chakra — Our connection to higher consciousness, clarity, wisdom, and perspective. When our thoughts become noisy, we create space for stillness.

💚 Heart Chakra — Our center of love, compassion, forgiveness, and emotional connection. An invitation to soften what we’ve been holding and return to love.

🧡 Sacral Chakra — Our center of creativity, emotional flow, pleasure, and intuition. An invitation to trust what we feel and reconnect with our inner knowing.

Sometimes our minds, hearts, and intuition seem to be in conflict. In chakra-based sound healing traditions, the vibrations of singing bowls are believed to help release energetic dissonance and invite these centers back into harmony.

And perhaps that’s what alignment really is.

Not forcing every part of ourselves to agree, but creating enough stillness to hear what each part is trying to tell us.

This November, I’ll be guiding a small group of women on the island of Maui for five days of restoration, healing, laughter, movement, and deep connection.

We’ll wake with the island.�Move our bodies.�Breathe through what we’ve been carrying.�Share incredible meals.�Swim in the ocean.�Journal.�Volunteer on sacred land.�Visit waterfalls.�Practice nervous system regulation.�Sit in circles where you don’t have to have it all together.

Life moves so quickly.

Children grow up. Mothers grow older. Careers become busier. Grandchildren arrive. Seasons change. Before we know it, another year has passed, and we realize we’ve been longing for quality time but never quite made space for it.

This retreat was created to make that space.

Not to fix a relationship.

Not because anything is broken.

But because some relationships deserve intentional time, presence, and memories that will be treasured for a lifetime.

This September, a small group of mothers and daughters will gather on the island of Maui for four days of rest, adventure, meaningful conversation, nourishing meals, gentle movement, guided experiences, and time immersed in one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

We’ll laugh. We may cry. We’ll unplug, breathe deeply, and remember what matters most.

This is an intentionally intimate experience because I believe transformation happens in small circles where everyone is truly seen.
There are only two seats remaining—one mother and one daughter—to complete our final pair.

This is a space to slow down, regulate your nervous system, breathe deeply, and simply receive. Whether you’ve had a stressful week, you’re moving through a season of change, or you’re just craving an hour of stillness, you’re welcome here.

One of my favorite moments from this weekend’s Aqueous Alignment Retreat at Oasis Lakes Teaching Farm was sharing a taste of Maui with our community here in Missouri.

We passed around a jar of fermented raw Maui honey and papaya seeds harvested from a papaya grown on the Hawaiʻi Land Trust in Waiheʻe—a small ritual that connected two places that have profoundly shaped my heart.

For generations, papaya seeds have been used in traditional practices for digestive health. They contain fiber, healthy fats, antioxidants, and naturally occurring plant compounds that have been studied for their antimicrobial and antiparasitic properties. When paired with raw honey and allowed to ferment, you also gain the potential benefits of fermentation, which may support a healthy gut microbiome while creating a beautifully complex flavor.
While no single food is a cure-all, I love incorporating foods that have been traditionally valued for supporting digestion and overall wellness.
As we shared each spoonful, we also shared a story—one of stewardship, reverence for the land, and the reminder that healing often begins with simple acts of intention.
Bringing a gift from the sacred ʻāina of Maui to the fertile soil of Missouri felt like weaving two homes together, honoring both the land that has taught me so much and the land that held us so lovingly this weekend.
Food carries nutrients, but it also carries memory, culture, and connection. I’m grateful we got to experience all of it together.

From breathwork that helped us release what no longer serves us, to yoga that brought us back into our bodies, self-defense that reminded us of our strength, a powerful workshop on lymphatics and hormones that encouraged us to listen to our bodies, and Human Design that invited us to better understand ourselves—each of you brought something unique and deeply valuable to this experience.

Thank you for leading with authenticity, generosity, and heart. You didn’t just teach classes; you created spaces where people felt safe to soften, grow, and reconnect with themselves.

What an incredible weekend of collaboration, community, and healing. I’m so grateful we got to build this together. 🤍

This weekend was exactly what my nervous system didn’t know it was asking for.

The Full Moon in Capricorn has a way of asking us to slow down. To pause the constant doing.
To release what we’ve been carrying and remember that our worth isn’t measured by how much we produce. For a group made up of facilitators, leaders, healers, and people who spend so much of their lives holding space for others, this retreat became an invitation to finally let ourselves be held.

We breathed. We laughed. We cried.
We shared meals grown from the very land beneath our feet.
We submerged in the lake.
We listened to birds instead of notifications, gathered around the fire, moved our bodies, and gave our nervous systems permission to remember what safety feels like.

My heart is overflowing with gratitude for every facilitator who poured their gifts into this weekend, every participant who arrived with courage and openness, and every volunteer who gave their precious time, love, and energy to help make this gathering possible.
You each shaped this experience in ways that can’t be measured.

A special thank you to Amy and Felix for so generously opening the land they lovingly steward.
Thank you for trusting us with this sacred space and allowing us to gather, heal, and reconnect with ourselves and one another on such beautiful ground.

This weekend reminded me that rest is productive.
Community is medicine.

And sometimes the most transformative thing we can do is simply become still long enough to hear ourselves again.

Not interested in camping? No problem.

While we would love to have you stay under the stars with us, camping is completely optional. You’re welcome to head home Saturday evening and return Sunday morning for sunrise yoga and the remainder of the day’s programming.
