I would like to take a moment to talk about my favorite soaps that we carry, milk based. We currently offer 2 Goat Milk and 2 Buttermilk options. 1 unscented in each milk for people with sensitive skins.
Why milk soap? I love it for its rich lather and the softness of my skin, but what else does it do?
Milk soaps are high in Alpha Hydroxy Acids, especially Lactic Acid. These usually come at a high cost in synthetic soaps. What these acids do is naturally break the bond in dead skin cells, sloughing them off to show the new skin layer beneath.
High in Vitamin A which is necessary to repair damaged skin, reduce lines and wrinkles, and provides acne and psoriasis relief.
Contains several minerals, including selenium, which is believed by scientists to play an important role in preventing skin cancer and helps minimize damage caused by to much sun. Summer is coming, your skin will thank you!
