One of the most beautiful parts of spiritual work is that the most powerful and impactful, is the most simple. It is about the intention, the significance of each ingredient/material, and the beauty of ritual.
Today, I felt called to connect with what my grandmother loved to do which is set a sacred bath. I’ve always loved baths and they have been a continuous part of my self-care, but when I was told after she passed how she did the same, it made me feel a sense of connection with her I did not feel when she was alive. Now it’s also a part of how I honor her support from the other side.
I set my intention with these beautiful pink roses, Florida water, epsom salt and lit palo santo and used my rattle to set my invocation and call in the beautiful goddesses who support my intention of self-love, self-anchoring, and self-fidelity. I sang a song from my heart as I rattled my way around the bath.
Something as simple as this, can transform how you show up and help you feel more in your body and more at peace. Today’s full moon is powerful and in Aquarius, calling you to own your own uniqueness and individuality and what sets you apart and that that in itself is what makes you so deserving of love.
