Team Brody will once again be participating in the ChadTough Run Tough race this September. Team Brody will run/walk this race at Oakwood Clubhouse on Saturday, September 26 at 9 AM.

Today is 4 years without our favorite boy. 😭 In some ways, it seems like so much longer and in other ways, like only yesterday.
The hole in our hearts will always be there and we are trying to learn to live with that pain while continuing to honor our brave Brody and help other children and families.
Today has been quiet and reflective. We worked in Brody’s room and added some artwork to his walls. Tonight, we will eat tacos and try to think about what he would be like today.
We are so grateful for our friends and family who continue to love and support us. The texts and messages today have meant so much.
Hug your loved ones and tell someone a joke in Brody’s memory today. 🧡🧡🧡

This past week our family attended the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Gala in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This was our fourth gala to attend and the first time Taylor has been able to attend with us. Having her with us this year was so special. She was able to connect with other siblings who truly understand her pain and grief. Connecting with other families and talking about our kiddos is so healing and therapeutic.

We are so incredible thankful to ChadTough Defeat DIPG for the way they honor our children while raising funds to end DIPG.

Team Brody had some amazing auction items that raised ~$25,000. We are so thankful to our friends and family for all the auction item donations that made this possible.

We don’t know an exact total yet but we do know this year’s auction made over $1.8 million!

Hey Team Brody! We had several people reach out about ordering this year’s Brody shirt from the Lakeland Brave Like Brody Baseball Classic.
These are a short sleeve dri fit shirt. We will place the order next Wednesday so please let me know if you would like one and what size (they come in youth and adult sizes). They will look like the picture but without the number. These are available for a $25 donation.

What a night! Lakeland’s school colors are a beautiful blue, white and gray, but tonight Lakeland turned the field orange and white to honor Brody and raise money for the Brave Like Brody Memorial Scholarship through the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. The weather was perfect and the crowd support was even better. We were thrilled to announce our first ever Brave Like Brody Memorial Scholarship recipient, Ms. Riley Hampton. A huge THANK YOU to LPS, Lakeland baseball/softball, all the volunteers, and the Lakeland baseball booster club for once again hosting such a special event. Friends and family, thank you for once again showing up and for all of your support! 🧡🧡🧡

Hey Team Brody! Just a reminder about tomorrow’s 3rd annual Brave Like Brody Classic. Hope to see you there! Go Lions!

Come and support the Brave Like Brody Scholarship on April 17th when your Lakeland Lions will host the 3rd Annual Brave Like Brody Classic against Crockett County with JV taking the field at 4:30 and Varsity at 6:30. Lakeland's own Zoey Yale will be singing the National Anthem before the Varsity game!

Friends and family, we can’t thank you enough for your generous donations for Brody’s 13th birthday. We collected toys the entire month of March and we were able to donate to St. Jude, LeBonheur, and Brody will have a basket of toys at the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Auction in May.
We know he would love all these items being shared with other children who need a little happiness during their battles.
