Two minimally invasive procedures — Kyphoplasty and Vertebroplasty — can relieve the pain of vertebral compression fractures.

✅ You may be a candidate for Vertebroplasty if you have:
• A painful vertebral compression fracture (often from osteoporosis or cancer)
• Pain that hasn't responded to rest, medication, or bracing
• A stable fracture confirmed on imaging

✅ You may be a candidate for Kyphoplasty if you have:
• A compression fracture AND significant loss of vertebral height
• A curved or collapsed spine you'd like partially restored
• Osteoporosis-related fractures within the past several months

Both procedures stabilize the fracture, but Kyphoplasty uses a balloon to create space and restore height before filling with cement — making it a better fit when spinal deformity is present.

Carotid Artery Disease occurs when plaque builds up in the arteries that supply blood to your brain, increasing the risk of stroke. It often develops quietly, with no symptoms at first. As it progresses, warning signs may include sudden weakness, numbness on one side of the body, trouble speaking, vision problems, dizziness, or symptoms that can signal a transient ischemic attack (TIA) or stroke.

Early detection is key. Identifying and managing this condition can significantly reduce your risk and help protect your long-term health.

If you've been dealing with a dull, aching pain in your lower abdomen that just won't go away, Pelvic Congestion Syndrome (PCS) could be the cause. .

Symptoms can include heaviness or fullness in the pelvis, pain that worsens after long periods of standing, during or after in*******se, or at the end of the day, as well as visible varicose veins in the pelvic or thigh area. If this sounds familiar, it may be time to look deeper into the cause of your pain.

If you're constantly planning your day around the nearest restroom, it might not just be “getting older.” An enlarged prostate (BPH) can cause frequent urination, sudden urgency, weak flow, and restless nights, making travel, outdoor plans, and even simple things frustrating.

Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE) is a minimally invasive, non-surgical treatment that shrinks the prostate and relieves symptoms without the additional downtime of traditional surgery. That means fewer interruptions, better sleep, and more freedom to actually enjoy your summer.

Persistent or sudden back pain, especially after a minor fall or even routine movement, could point to a VCF, often linked to osteoporosis.

Other signs can include height loss, limited mobility, and a stooped or hunched posture. Pain typically worsens with standing or walking and improves with rest.

Kyphoplasty is a minimally invasive treatment that stabilizes the fracture, restores vertebral height, and can provide rapid, lasting pain relief, helping you return to normal activities with improved comfort and function.

Hypertension is often called the “silent killer” because it typically has no obvious symptoms — even when blood pressure levels are dangerously high.

But in more severe cases, warning signs can include:
• Severe headaches
• Shortness of breath
• Chest pain
• Blurred vision
• Nosebleeds
• Dizziness

The problem is that many people feel completely fine — until complications like heart attack or stroke occur.

👉 Don't wait for symptoms. Monitor your blood pressure and call our physicians if you're concerned: 863.577.0316

Get a second opinion!

If you've been told surgery is your only choice for fibroids, it may be time to explore your options. A hysterectomy isn't the only solution.
Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE) is a minimally invasive, image-guided treatment that shrinks fibroids by blocking their blood supply — without removing the uterus.

✔️ No major surgery
✔️ No large incisions
✔️ Shorter recovery time
✔️ Uterus preserved

Many women are surprised to learn there’s an effective alternative that can relieve heavy bleeding, pelvic pain, and pressure.

While leg pain doesn't always equal PAD, your risk increases as you get older.

PAD is often detected through a simple, non-invasive test called an Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI). This quick exam compares blood pressure in your ankle to the blood pressure in your arm to check for reduced blood flow.

Your provider may also recommend:
✔️ Ultrasound imaging
✔️ CT or MR angiography
✔️ A review of symptoms like leg pain when walking

Early diagnosis matters — PAD can increase the risk of heart attack and stroke if left untreated.

Liver cancer may not be one of the most common cancers, but it’s one of the most serious — with over 42,000 new cases and nearly 31,000 deaths expected in the U.S. this year alone. Early detection can make a life-saving difference, yet many cases are found late when treatment options are limited.

👉 Know your risks, talk to your doctor about screening if you're at increased risk, and take steps toward prevention. Early action matters.
