We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Jessica aka Jessica’s Stoma Journey, is a finalist in the BBC Radio Merseyside Make a Difference Awards Young Hero category! 🥹💜

Out of hundreds of nominations, Jessica has made it through to the final 4 and we couldn’t be prouder! 🏆

This recognition means so much because Jessica has worked tirelessly to:

💜 Raise tens of thousands of pounds for charity
💜 Support Step Up for Stomas
💜 Campaign for change and better awareness
💜 Give a voice to the stoma community
💜 Bring people together and show others that having a stoma should never hold you back

Jessica has turned her own journey into something that helps, supports and inspires so many others. She continues to use her voice to create change, challenge misconceptions and make sure the stoma community is seen and heard. 🫶

To be recognised as one of the final four Young Hero finalists after hundreds of nominations is an incredible achievement Jessica should be incredibly proud of everything she has achieved 💜 her interview will be aired on Wednesday and we can’t wait to see the filming in September that her and her friends did it was such a special moment xx
