Every time I step outside, I’m reminded that there’s so much beauty and wisdom growing all around us.

The more I learn about herbs and the natural world, the more empowered I feel to care for myself and my family with what grows around us. It’s helped me slow down, pay attention, and appreciate the incredible abundance that’s often hiding in plain sight.

If you’ve been curious about the medicinal plants growing in your own backyard, neighborhood, or along your favorite walking trail, we’d love to have you join us.

My sister and I will be teaching our Virtual Summer Plant Walk, where we’ll introduce you to some of our favorite summer medicinal plants, learn how to identify them, explore their traditional uses, and share how we enjoy working with them in our everyday lives.

Whether you’re brand new to herbs or have been learning for years, you’re welcome here. 🌿

✨ Comment “SUMMER” and I’ll send you the registration link.

💚 I’d also love to hear from you…

What’s something in nature that’s made you stop and notice lately?

Most people try to get rid of dandelions without realizing how much they offer.

Did you know every part of the dandelion is usable?
The leaves, flowers, and roots have all been traditionally used for nourishment and herbal support, and they’re one of the first plants to return each spring.

The more you learn the plants around you, the more connected you begin to feel to the seasons, the earth, your food, and even your own body.

You begin seeing the world differently.

In our Spring Virtual Herb Class, we’ll be sharing how to identify common spring plants growing right now, how to harvest respectfully and sustainably, and simple ways to begin working with herbs in everyday life.

Most people have medicinal plants growing around them right now and don’t even realize it.

Every year I become more amazed by how much nourishment and wisdom is already here, growing in our yards, forests, and along the trails we walk every day.

Learning how to identify plants, work with them seasonally, and slowly build a home apothecary has been one of the most empowering and rewarding things for me.

It changes the way you walk through the world.

What once looked like “just green” everywhere starts becoming individual plants, each with so much wisdom to offer and learn from. And it’s amazing when you begin working with them and notice the difference not only in your own body and family, but in the way you relate to the earth, the seasons, and the world around you.

This is exactly why my sister Sharri and I created this virtual Spring Plant Walk 🌿

We’ll be teaching:
• edible and medicinal spring plants
• identification tips
• ethical harvesting
• seasonal plant wisdom
• practical ways to work with herbs in everyday life

Virtual from anywhere

Time with family. Slowing down. Being present.

This holiday season was filled with early mornings watching the sunrise, beach walks, warm sun, and space to simply be together. These are the moments we want to continue creating more of.

Watching the light rise over the ocean each morning was a quiet reminder of how nourishing it is to slow down and stay close to what matters most.

Wishing you all a beautiful holiday season and beyond. May you continue to follow what lights you up.

How I Support My Body When I Travel ✈️🌿

When I travel, I love to be prepared and have a few supportive things on hand.

Eating well and staying hydrated are always my foundation. Beyond that, I bring specific items with me that support my body naturally and have been incredibly supportive on my last trips.

I like to stay well hydrated on the plane, so I bring my own coconut water and fresh fruit to eat before landing, especially when I’m traveling internationally. I let TSA know I’m on a special diet, and I’ve been able to bring coconut water through. I also bring nourishing options for the plane, skip most of the standard airport and airplane drinks, and bring my own tea bags and a travel tea mug because it helps me feel grounded wherever I am.

I recently shared what I travel with, and what has truly saved me on my last trips, in an email to my list.
If you’re curious, you can message me “TRAVEL” and I can send it to you, or I can add you to the list and forward you the email 💛

This quote came up during the Q&A in my recent class.

When I shared it, someone mentioned how deeply it resonated with them and it felt like such an important reminder of the conversation we were having.

“Symptoms are not enemies to be destroyed, but sacred messengers who encourage us to take better care of ourselves.”
— Dr. Judith Orloff

Most of us were taught to silence symptoms.
To override them.
To see them as problems to get rid of.

But what if symptoms are actually signals?
Messages pointing us toward what needs attention, nourishment, or care.

When we stop fighting the body and start listening, everything begins to change.

I’ve been receiving such thoughtful feedback from this class, and I’m grateful for the conversations it’s opened.

✨ If you’d like the replay, comment REPLAY and I’ll send it to you.

And I’m curious:
What shifts when you see symptoms as messengers instead of enemies?

I’ve been a little quieter on social these last few months… and it’s been really good for my soul.

It’s been a season of reflection, understanding myself more deeply, noticing patterns that served me and others that were ready to be transformed.
A shedding.
A chapter closing.
And something new, more grounded and aligned, beginning to take shape.

Stepping back gave me space to be with my family, reconnect with what truly matters, and rebuild the foundations within myself the ones that naturally ripple into my home, my work, and my community.

This pause brought a deeper understanding of myself and of the people I’m here to support. And with that, so much clarity about what I want to create next.

Maybe you’ve felt a season like this too where life asks you to slow down so you can truly hear what’s real and what’s ready to emerge.

I’ll be sharing more soon.
For now… hi. I’m here. I’m grateful. And it feels really good to re-emerge with renewed alignment and purpose. 🤍

Thank you Sharri Abbott-Keller for capturing this moment!
