Is your provider using BIOTE pellets? Why this is pivotal ⬇️

I’ve been a Biote provider since 2013, and there is a reason I’ve stayed with it.

There are less expensive pellets available. When I’m managing something as important as your hormones, consistency, transparency, and trust matter.

I am not going to quietly change what I use and assume my patients will never notice. You deserve to know exactly what is being placed in your body and why.

Biote pellets are designed to release hormones gradually over time. In my clinical experience, women typically return around 3.5 to 4 months, while men may go approximately 5.5 to 6 months. Your individual results and treatment schedule can vary based on your dose, metabolism, absorption, and response.
Some injectable hormone protocols may produce greater fluctuations between doses. The experience also depends on the medication, dose, and injection schedule. This is why the delivery method should be selected for the individual patient.

After more than a decade as a Biote provider, this is one area where I value consistency over cutting costs.

Testosterone is not just a male hormone. Women produce it too, and it plays an important role in sexual health.

As women move through perimenopause and menopause, hormones do not all decline in the same way. Estradiol and progesterone fluctuate and decrease throughout the menopausal transition, while testosterone typically declines more gradually with age.

Estradiol therapy is well established for relieving hot flashes and night sweats. It can also help prevent bone loss and fractures in appropriately selected patients.

Testosterone therapy has an evidence-based role for certain postmenopausal women experiencing hypoactive sexual desire disorder. Claims that it independently increases muscle mass or improves brain, heart, and bone health are not supported by enough clinical evidence at this time.

I have seen patients experience meaningful improvements in bone density while receiving individualized hormone care. Those results should be evaluated alongside their complete treatment plan, health history, lifestyle, and any osteoporosis medications. One patient’s experience cannot prove that testosterone pellets independently reversed osteoporosis.

Hyaluronic acid fillers are gel-based and attract water, making them versatile for restoring volume, refining facial contours, and treating areas such as the lips. They can also be dissolved with hyaluronidase when clinically appropriate.

Radiesse is made with calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres. It provides immediate structural support while stimulating your body’s natural collagen production over time. I often consider it when the lower face needs stronger support or improved skin quality.

Here’s my opinion: choosing filler based on what is trending is never a treatment plan. The product should be selected only after assessing your facial structure, tissue quality, movement, and long-term goals.
