Doing the exercise and learning the exercise are two different things.

One gets you through the session. The other teaches your body to move right โ€” for good.

So yeah, sometimes we'll spend the whole time on one movement. Slow on purpose. Because a pattern you actually own beats a workout you just survived, every single time.

Quality over speed. Always.

POV: you just asked your patient if they did their exercises ๐Ÿ‘€

Yes, it's a joke.

No, I'm not totally kidding ๐Ÿ˜‚

We put real work into building you the right plan โ€” mapping out every exercise, every set, every progression for exactly what your body needs.

And thenโ€ฆ it just sits there untouched lol.

Here's the honest truth though: the best plan in the world won't do a thing unless YOU actually do it.

The magic isn't in the plan, it's in the reps you put in. So pleaseโ€ฆ do your exercises ๐Ÿ™

FINAL CALL: Summer Performance Games โ€” this is it.

Sign-ups close soon, and once the roster's locked, that's it until the winter games.

Seven events. Four pillars. One shot to put a number on the board and see where you stack up.

If you've been telling yourself "maybe next time" โ€” next time is right now. The people who sign up aren't the ones who peaked years ago. They're the ones who decided today was the day. They aren't the ones who "waited until they were ready" -- they decided there was no time better than NOW!

Sometimes its the little wins that make all the difference....

and celebrating those wins is how you stay focused and moving forward in rehab.

That's the win one of our clients just shared, and it means everything. Nerves heal slowly, on their own timeline. The job is to keep showing up with the right work โ€” and they did.

If you've been told to just live with the numbness, there may be more we can do. Reach out and lets talk.

From rehab to the ropes. ๐Ÿง— One of our athletes just conquered a Spartan Sprint โ€” 5K, full mountain, every obstacle. Their words: "Knee felt good, ran the downhills with very little discomfort." No penalties. All grit. ๐Ÿ”ฅ We don't just fix pain โ€” we build athletes

As we hinted at before....the GAMES ARE BACK and we are opening this one up to anyone who wants to come out and push their limits!!!

Seven events. Four pillars. One score that tells the whole story.

This summer we're putting your training to the test with a competition built on the APEX Athlete format โ€” measuring you across Speed ยท Power ยท Strength ยท Endurance.
With just a little bit of our own twist to it!

THE 7 EVENTS
โšก Fast Forty โ€” 40-yard sprint
๐Ÿ’ฅ Max Toss โ€” 10 lb med-ball throw for distance
โžก๏ธ The Broad โ€” standing broad jump
โฌ†๏ธ The Vert โ€” vertical jump
๐Ÿ‹๏ธ The Push โ€” max-rep bench (Men 205 / Women 95)
๐Ÿ‹๏ธ The Pull โ€” max-rep trap-bar deadlift (Men 285 / Women 150)
๐Ÿƒ The Mile โ€” where it all comes down to heart

Every athlete gets scored across all four pillars. Total it up, and leave it all on the floor.

Programs that work are the programs you can do.

That's the whole thing right here. Not magic โ€” just smart, targeted work and a client willing to commit to it. What felt like an unattainable goal turned out to be very reachable once the plan was right and they showed up for it.

FIVE WAYS TO GET YOUR KNEE JUMPING AGAIN

Obviously this list is not exhaustive (its not even everything we did in this session) but its certainly a great start.

1) Overcoming iso's; teach those knees how to PUSH HARD again, get them comfortable applying ALOT of force.

2) Light Tier plyos; short time on the ground, snappy movements. get creative with your patterns. Oh and get comfortable with motions other than forward and backward!!

3) Train the back of the leg; This means hamstrings and calves, not just the quad (though that is extremely important!!)

4) Deep tier plyos; master control over deeper and deeper ranges. Don't try to explode in and out, move smooth and with intent. Plus you'll get way more burn out of these than you think

5) Yielding iso; the other side of the iso coin. Great for helping build endurance and comfort within a controlled range...plus they are killer if you pair them with a Deep tier first!

Know someone whose knees don't bounce like they used too? Share this with them...

Interested in how we handle knees in rehab or performance? Comment "Knees" on this post and we'll shoot you a message so we can talk!

Let's bust the biggest myth we hear: that insurance is the "cheaper" option.

You're already paying premiums. Your plan may not cover the visits anyway. And there's a decent chance you get cut off mid-care and hit with a surprise bill after the fact. "Free" gets expensive fast.

We're not asking you to trust us on this one โ€” we're handing the mic to a client who's also a PT. She came from the traditional outpatient setting, needed care herself, and did the math. Hear what she found.
