🔔 The Medicare Open Enrollment period starts October 15, 2026 and ends December 7, 2026.

During this time, you can join, switch or drop a Medicare Advantage Plan or Medicare Part D drug plan, or you can switch to Original Medicare. Look out for your Annual Notice of Change letter at the end of September to see how your current plan will be changing for 2027.

The CDC recommends the Shingrix vaccine for all healthy adults aged 50 and older. It is also recommended for adults aged 19 and older who have weakened immune systems. The vaccine is given in two doses, typically spaced 2 to 6 months apart.
