Back-to-school season can bring new routines, new challenges, and sometimes extra stress for families. You don't have to navigate it alone. Our Community-Based Voluntary Support (CBVS) program works alongside families to help build stability, strengthen connections, and access the supports they need.
One common misconception is that CBVS is the same as DCYF. It isn't. CBVS is a voluntary program designed to support families by connecting them with resources and helping address challenges before they become bigger barriers.
Your Family Support Specialist gets to know your family's unique strengths, goals, and needs, then works with you to create a plan that makes sense for your situation. That support might include connecting to childcare, transportation, healthcare, mental health services, housing resources, or other community supports.
At the Family Resource Center, we believe every family deserves support, and we're hear to walk alongside you every step of the way.
