We’re proud to recognize two team members who embody our mission every day.

👏Stacie is an invaluable team member who freely shares her knowledge and supports both her teammates and the individuals she serves. She is a strong example for new ISCs, consistently stepping in to assist and lead when questions arise. Her support and leadership inspire those around her to do their best.

👏Maria consistently demonstrates exceptional accountability by ensuring providers meet documentation standards and by clearly explaining expectations. Her deep knowledge of each individual she supports and her willingness to help improve processes set a high bar for excellence.

🌟Mission Ambassadors Spotlight! 🌟

We’re proud to recognize two team members who embody our mission every day.

👏Libby has provided outstanding mentorship to a new team member learning the ISC role, sharing meeting examples, best practices, and practical strategies that have boosted confidence and skill. Her support strengthens the SSA department by empowering new staff to grow and succeed.

👏Cathy provided exceptional support with a guardianship packet by walking through each form step by step, offering organizational tips, and explaining the purpose of each document. Her guidance built strong knowledge and confidence for completing future guardianship packets independently, while making it clear she is always available if help is needed.

Dolly Parton gave the world songs people knew by heart.

Through her Imagination Library, she also gave millions of children something to hold in their hands: a book of their own.

What began as the idea of mailing a free, age-appropriate book to a child every month grew into a global movement helping children discover the joy of reading from the very beginning.

Since 2009, United Way has been proud to help carry that vision into communities, partnering with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library so more children could grow up with books of their own.

Dolly’s work showed how something as simple as a book could open a door to possibility. Her generosity and belief in children have helped shape generations of young readers.

We honor Dolly’s remarkable life, her friendship with United Way and the generations of young readers whose lives will continue to be shaped by the stories she helped place in their hands. Thank you, Dolly. ❤️

At Fairfield DD, Early Intervention (EI) helps children from birth to age 2 build important skills while giving families the confidence and support they need along the way.

For Marjorie and her nearly 3-year-old son, Jaxon, that journey began just over a year ago with a goal of helping him communicate. Since starting Early Intervention, Jaxon has made great progress. 💫

Attention Forest Rose School Families

We are proud to announce that Forest Rose School will be implementing a new option for schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2026–2027 school year.

This means all Forest Rose School students will be able to receive breakfast and lunch at no cost during the upcoming school year.
