World Parkinson Congress 2026 Photo Dump
What an incredible experience! Toni and I are feeling so grateful to have had the opportunity to attend the World Parkinson Congress and be surrounded by some of the brightest minds, strongest advocates, dedicated researchers, healthcare professionals, and most inspiring people living with Parkinson’s from around the world.
One of the most powerful takeaways from this year’s congress was a message we’ve been sharing at CrushPD Fitness for years: exercise is medicine for Parkinson’s disease. The research continues to grow, showing that regular, challenging exercise can help improve mobility, balance, strength, cognition, mood, and overall quality of life. Even more exciting, emerging research continues to support the idea that exercise may help slow the progression of symptoms and support brain health.
Some of our favorite insights included:
âś… The importance of exercising with enough intensity to create meaningful change.
âś… Combining aerobic exercise, strength training, balance work, and cognitive challenges for the best outcomes.
✅ Starting exercise early and staying consistent throughout the Parkinson’s journey.
âś… The incredible impact that community, connection, and support have on long-term success.
Perhaps the most meaningful part of the week was meeting so many of our Parkinson’s heroes, individuals who are courageously living with PD, researchers working tirelessly to find better treatments and a cure, advocates raising awareness, and exercise leaders changing lives every day. Their passion, resilience, and determination left us inspired and energized to continue our mission.
We’re returning home with new ideas, renewed motivation, and an even stronger commitment to helping people with Parkinson’s live stronger, move better, and thrive.
The future is bright, and together we are stronger than Parkinson’s.
