Woods Services

Woods Services Woods supports children & adults with disabilities or challenges to achieve their highest potential Fulfilling Lives.

Woods was founded a century ago by visionary Mollie Woods with two simple goals -- to advance the quality of life and standard of care for individuals with disabilities. She gained international recognition for her groundbreaking work in helping children with exceptional needs experience the joy of achievement and lead fulfilling lives. Today, we’ve broadened her mission to serve people of all age

s and levels of care with a unique model that drives greater achievement for individuals -- and best practices for the industry. We do that by applying leading research in real-world environments to create better outcomes in the four key life areas – Educational, Home and Community Supports, Health, Wellness and Therapeutic and Vocational. Our model relies on the strength of our highly-trained, highly-motivated and extremely dedicated team of clinicians, educators and counselors. Just as Mollie did 100 years ago, we believe our mission and our model are one in the same -- Exceptional People.

Did you know nearly 80% of people with disabilities are unemployed? At Woods, we’re working to change that — one inclusive workplace at a time.

This Global Accessibility Awareness Day, we’re celebrating the power of accessibility, opportunity, and belonging through our Social Enterprises: Yellow Daffodil, Common Grounds, and Woods Wear. From adaptive supports to inclusive environments, we’re creating workplaces where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

Jerome’s physical therapy session at the Gardner Education Center shows what integrated care really looks like in action. PT is all about building strength, improving mobility, and increasing independence in ways that connect to each individual’s overall care plan.

And just as important? It’s engaging and fun! When therapy is personalized and enjoyable, clients are more motivated, more confident, and more likely to reach their goals.
