Feeling like it's almost time for a small "My Sister's Keeper" Gathering. Let's see how we can help each other for real and not just TALK about it. As Women/young women we deal with so much that we try to handle on our own. Life was not made for your to go through alone. Sometimes some help even and encouraging words and resources can change your life for the better. I will plan this SOON! Just because she hasn't told you, doesn't mean she's not having problems, feeling depressed, stressed, confused, used, abused.....
sometimes they may not want to talk but a hug or smile works wonders sometimes. As women, we try to be strong..... put on a mask.. but we need to learn to love ourselves more and take care of ourselves more. You can't always put him... or them (the kids).... first. LOVE YOU

Her brush paints the feeling
Each stroke speaks the words
All the colors hear the sound
Of a silent cry to finish

The frame holds everything
Textures hide the flaws
The lines stroke her hair
In the canvas she is lost

Abrasive is the build
Couldn’t see her receding colors
Still the tone
Can be heard loud and clear
