Dr. Brad Uren, MCEP Past President, provided strong testimony today at the House Committee on Judiciary meeting in support of HB 4532-4534. This bipartisan bill package will enact enhanced penalties for anyone who commits an act of violence against a healthcare worker or medical volunteer, with important guardrails for those suffering from acute mental health crises.
