• Implementing lean strategies
• Diversification; markets, products, services
• Pricing pressure from customers
• Strategic planning
• Supply chain support
• Import/export strategies
• Keeping up-to-date with technology and innovation
• Process improvements skills

The CAMC will maintain a strong workforce development group consisting of senior level HR managers that will address important issues facing employers such as:
• The rising cost of healthcare benefits
• Employee engagement
• Expansion of apprenticeships programs
• Establishing training programs
• Compensation structure
• Finding and retaining skilled workers
