Blacktooth Brewing is challenging local Laramie bars and breweries to enter their BOOzy hot cocoa recipe! Does anyone have what it takes to beat Ryan’s mouthwatering brew? 🍻

ENTER TODAY! POM’s first ever 21+ hot cocoa contest is next Friday, October 30th 5-9pm at the LPCC Phoenix Ballroom! $20 per entry, with only 30 spots available! ⏳

People’s Choice wins $150, and Judge’s Choice wins $300 - and don’t forget about the costume contest! ✨

Rules:
-All competitors must be 21 years of age or older (Photo ID Required)
-Each entry must be your own (from scratch) creation
-Each entry must have a name and brief description
-Each entry must include a list of all ingredients
-Liquid, powder, or bomb - must be ready to serve
-110 four-ounce servings must be provided
-Alcohol content must be 4% ABV or less
-Judging criteria: taste, presentation, and creativity
-You must provide all equipment necessary to prepare, heat, and serve
-1 table with 2 chairs, serving cups, and stirrers will be provided

Video Description: This video is around 20 seconds and features clips at Blacktooth Brewing and other bars and breweries in downtown Laramie, WY. We first see a curbside view of Blacktooth Brewing and a video from the point of view of walking into Blacktooth. It’s a cozy and rustic location with bright, urban appeal, red brick walls, warm wood tones, and wrought iron accents throughout. Their many specialty brews are visible on tap behind the bar. Next we see a video clip of Ryan, a contestant in the contest, behind the bar as he works. In the next clip, he holds their best brewery of Laramie trophy, and says, “Laramie has some of the best bars and brews in Wyoming. MEET JUDGE #1 - PAUL WALKER! ☕

Paul has been involved with Wolf Creek Radio Broadcasting since 2018 when they were originally just one station. Now, they boast four radio stations dedicated to serving the Albany County Community. In his role as News Director/Operations Assistant for all four stations and afternoon host on Hits 106, he loves the ability to use the power of radio to make a difference for their listeners and advertisers.

Paul will help decide the winner of Judge’s Choice and $300! ✨

Blacktooth Brewing



Video Description: This video is a little over 30 seconds and features clips at Blacktooth Brewing and the Downtown Laramie sign in downtown Laramie, WY. We first see a curbside view of Blacktooth Brewing and a video from the point of view of walking into Blacktooth. It’s a cozy and rustic location with bright, urban appeal, red brick walls, warm wood tones, and wrought iron accents throughout. Their many specialty brews are visible on tap behind the bar. Next we see a video clip of Ryan behind the bar. He holds up a POM-branded travel mug, and poses the question, “What’s in my cup?” The camera zooms in on the travel mug before transitioning to zooming out from the same mug with Ryan now in a new location in front of the Downtown Laramie sign by the pedestrian bridge. He spreads his arms to the side as he answers his own question, “Only the best BOOzy hot cocoa in Laramie!” He takes a drink from the travel mug as a slurp sound effect plays, and nods his head in satisfaction because his recipe is just that good.
