Hey all! Darly here👋🏻
If you follow me from day 1, you’ll be very familiar with this timeline of photos. It all started in my kitchen, with my very first batch of 12 donuts that was split in half to restock 2 gyms for the very first time. I only sold 2. Three months later my route had 15 gyms and my batches were nearly 200 donuts, all baked and delivered by only me. Restocking gyms’ fridges is how it started, then pop ups and now our donut trailer, operated by three of us. All within the first year of business, thanks to you.
Truth is, Helene nearly ended with my business. Shocker? yeah.🤧 So after a deep winter reflection, I refuse to see it die slowly. It isn’t maybe what I had envisioned for it when I started it, but I want to give it a better chance. I am transplanting this baby sprout to Florida for a better-newer-bigger goal. I am convinced I have poured myself into this business for a reason, and it doesn’t end here. So I want to say thank you to every gym owner who opened their doors for us, every client, every review, every collaboration, it will always be the first chapter of this business journey.
Insights for me to remember and for other business owners⬇️
-You’ll be your own cheerleader at times, make sure you give yourself positive talk only.
-You’re the only one responsible for everything that happens and doesn’t happen.
-Stay grateful for catastrophe, it is only showing you how to pivot.
-Don’t think too much. Just do it. Do not stay stagnant.
-When pregnant or ill, slow down but don’t stop.
