A lifelong practice as a healer and holistic health seeker has led me to yoga. I am grateful for the opportunity to blend the nursing knowledge and yogic principles in a gentle restorative, client centered, holistic health practice. I trained as an instructor with Tias and Surya Little, Prajna Yoga, in Santa Fe,
NM. I continue to study with Tias and other teachers, believing that we are all students on the mat. I am registered as an RYT with Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level. My specialty is gentle restorative yoga for the physically challenged population. Because of my foundation in nursing, I have a solid understanding of physiology and anatomy. Experience working with a varied clientele allows me to tailor the poses for each person’s abilities. I am passionate about how humor and joy influence health holistically and that makes my teaching relaxed and uplifting. An emphasis on breath, balance and alignment enhances flexibility and maintains independence for all ages and capabilities.
