✨ Case Study: Mature Skin Brow Transformation ✨
There’s a common misconception in permanent makeup that mature skin has limited options—but with the right technique, artistry, and respect for the skin, beautiful results are absolutely achievable. 💐
This lovely client in her 60s came to me with very thin, fragile skin and no previous permanent makeup. Her goal was simple: the most natural-looking brows possible. Like many, she was initially drawn to microblading—but due to her skin type, she was not a candidate for traditional microblading or full machine nano brows, as both can create unnecessary trauma and unpredictable healing on delicate, mature skin.

Instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all method, I created a bespoke hybrid technique designed specifically for her skin:
• Manual SoftTap shading for a soft, airy powder foundation
• Gentle, short tapped hairstrokes using manual method
• Selective machine hairstrokes (standard diameter, short tapered liner cartridge) to add dimension and realism
• Approximately 80% manual + 20% machine work for optimal balance
