TSH tells you what your brain is asking your thyroid to do. Free T3 and Free T4 tell you whether it’s actually doing it. You can have a perfect TSH and underperforming conversion of T4 into the active hormone your cells use. That gap is where fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, and low mood often live. It doesn’t show up unless you test the right markers.

Hard training spikes cortisol. Over time, if recovery doesn’t match output, your testosterone:cortisol ratio drops and so does everything else. Strength. Sleep. Motivation. Mood.
Low ferritin limits oxygen delivery before you feel it in your lungs. Low Vitamin D increases injury risk and slows adaptation. The athletes who keep progressing aren’t just training smarter. They’re measuring what their training is actually doing.

LDL, HDL, triglycerides. These are the ones you’ve probably heard of. ApoB, Lp(a), hs-CRP, HbA1c. These are the ones that fill in the gaps. The Heart & Metabolic panel is built around cardiovascular and metabolic risk factors, including the markers most predictive of long-term heart disease and insulin resistance. Included with SiPhox membership. Results in 5-7 days.

Kidney function declines gradually and quietly. By the time symptoms appear, significant function has already been lost. eGFR catches declining function earlier than creatinine alone. Catching a downward trend early is the only time you can meaningfully change it.

Serum iron tells you what’s circulating. Ferritin tells you what’s stored. Low ferritin is one of the most common and most missed causes of fatigue, hair loss, poor recovery, and low mood, especially in women. And it won’t show up on a basic iron test. We measure ferritin directly. Because the storage number is almost always the more important one.

Vitamin B12 is essential for nerve function, red blood cell production, and DNA synthesis. When levels drop, your nervous system feels it first. The problem: symptoms develop slowly and are almost identical to depression, chronic fatigue, and anxiety. Most people manage the symptoms instead of finding the source. A blood test catches it in minutes.

Biological aging is measurable. It shows up in your ApoB trends, your inflammation markers, your DHEA-S decline, your HbA1c creep. The people who catch those trends early have the most runway to act on them. Not because something is wrong. Because they don’t want to wait until it is.

Most labs give you one reference range for every hormone, regardless of where you are in your cycle. So a result that’s completely normal on day 3 looks flagged on day 14, or vice versa. We use cycle-specific ranges for every hormonal biomarker. That means your results are interpreted against what’s actually expected at your phase, not a one-size-fits-all number. You can test any day. We recommend day 3 for the most consistent baseline. Either way, your results will make sense in context.

DHEA-S is produced by your adrenal glands and serves as the raw material for testosterone and estrogen. It peaks in your mid-20s and drops steadily from there, affecting energy, immune function, body composition, libido, and cognitive sharpness. It also doesn’t come up at your annual physical. We include it because what you don’t measure, you can’t manage.
