Our thoughts are with the firefighters and emergency crews responding to the Hawk Fire in Northern Nevada, especially as they continue their efforts following the Bug and Fred fires. Many of our employees have family, friends and colleagues in the Reno-Sparks area, and we are grateful for the bravery and dedication of those working to protect our communities.

According to the National Park Service, approximately 85% of wildfires are caused by human activity. Please do your part to help prevent wildfires and stay safe.

The surgery team at West Henderson Hospital marked another new milestone - Dr. Lecavalier performed the hospital's first endoscopic spine surgery using the Arthrex Endoscopic Spine Navigation System! Endoscopic spine navigation is effective for herniated or bulging discs, spinal stenosis, foraminal stenosis, pinched nerves, bone spurs and certain spinal tumors or infections.

Patients benefit from small incisions, resulting in minimal scarring, reduced pain after surgery, lower risk of infections and complications, a quicker recovery and return to daily activities. Congratulations to the team!

🎒✏️ Backpacks, pencils and a whole lot of heart! ❤️

Our team at Valley Hospital Las Vegas is getting into the back-to-school spirit by coming together for a school supply drive to help local students start the school year ready to learn and succeed. 📚✨

It’s amazing what can happen when a team comes together for something bigger than ourselves. Every backpack, notebook, pencil, and supply donated is one more way we can support the kids in our community.

Because caring for our community doesn’t stop at the hospital doors. 💙

Back-to-school isn't just a big day for the kids; it can be a big day for parents, too! 🚌

We had some very special four-legged visitors stop by to give the team at Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center a little extra love and support as many of our staff sent their kids off for the first day of school. 🐾

Sometimes a few cuddles, wagging tails and puppy love are exactly what you need! 🐶
