Hey friends and followers... please share! A federal court just ruled that AI-generated explicit images are protected under the First Amendment—even if they depict minors—because they don't show "real" people. That decision feels dangerously backwards.
This isn't abstract. A Wisconsin man had hundreds of these images, and the court basically said it's fine. The problem? These "virtual" images normalize abuse and don't require a real victim to cause real harm. Laws written before AI existed can't keep up with what this technology can actually do.
I started a petition asking the Supreme Court to reevaluate this ruling and close the gap between free speech protections and the actual dangers these images create—especially for how they normalize sexual abuse of children.

Today, I learned a shocking truth! Seniors and disabled individuals are often denied the opportunity to earn a livable wage (so they don't have to eat cat food), forcing them to struggle financially. Ironically, when they attempt to supplement their income through work, Social Security penalizes them for exceeding arbitrary income limits (that are not livable wages to begin), labeling it an 'overpayment' and confiscating their hard-earned money - funds they contributed to the system for years.

This unjust system effectively discourages vulnerable populations from seeking financial stability, perpetuating a cycle of poverty. It's unacceptable that those who need support the most are being told they're not allowed to improve their economic situation.
