The pigment is applied with the expectation that it will lighten over the next 2-4 days. Sometimes, pigments mix with lymph and sugars, which can result in darker brown tones initially.

By days 3-5, the peeling process will start.

For the first 3-4 days, gently cleanse the area with a cotton pad moistened with chlorhexidine and apply a healing ointment like “Vitamins A+D.”

After day 5, apply a thin layer of healing ointment only as needed.

Important! Avoid red wine for the first 3-4 days, as it can change the color of your lips‼️‼️‼️
