is someone whose writing I genuinely admire. In fact, my daughter loves her writing too, because she wrote 'Ginger Mancino, Kid Comedian,' a book we read together in the evening, laughing out loud. Wendi is hilarious and brilliant. So when she took the time to read my book and called me "a bright light to follow during what can be a tough time for a lot of women," I got a bit teary-eyed. 🥹 Gratitude doesn't even cover it.

I also dare to say that this review isn't really about me. It's about you.
✔The woman who deserves to feel like herself again. Not some dimmed-down, white-knuckling-through-it version of herself.
✔ The woman who deserves joy. Not just survival.
✔ The woman who deserves to feel free in her own body, on her own terms.

Here are the three things I keep coming back to, no matter what's going on.

☀️ Finding joy in simplicity. The "boring" stuff. Not clickbaity, won't go viral, absolutely works every time.

👩🏿‍🤝‍👩🏽 Focusing on connection. Community, community, community. Find your people. Show up for them. That's it.

😊 Finding the inner smile. You'll know it when you feel it. That quiet spark that takes over before you even realize it's there. Like a song that makes you move no matter what mood you're in.

I am so honored and genuinely grateful to The Ann Richards School Foundation for opening their doors to this conversation. 💛 Talking about perimenopause, menopause, and everything in between isn’t just important, it’s powerful. When schools and communities make space for real conversations about women’s health, we all move forward a little stronger, wiser, and more connected.

I can’t wait to spend this hour together answering your questions, sharing some science, busting a few myths, and bringing a little joy into a topic that deserves curiosity instead of confusion. This will be informal, real, and full of good energy because that’s how learning sticks.
