I had to learn the hard way that you can’t heal in the same environment that made you sick. I kept trying to "fix" things with people who weren't even sorry. Once I stopped looking for an apology and started looking for the exit, my whole life changed. If you’re waiting for them to admit they hurt you before you move on, you’re giving them the remote to your happiness.
