1 Samuel 16:23 states that David played the harp to relieve Saul from the evil spirit that entered him when God separated himself from him. This verse is a clear example of how vulnerable the man is without God and it is also teaches us of the influence that music has over our minds, because, if music can put a demon out of someone, it can also put a demon in someone, therefore we must be wise with the music we choose to listen to.
