I come from a line of entrepreneurs. People who found ways to build, create, provide, and make something out of what they had. When I think about Juneteenth, I think about that legacy and the generations whose resilience made it possible for me to own a business today.

If your “I am” is shaky, your “I see” can be too.

When I first started exploring spirituality, I was fascinated by all the things people talked about awakening to, seeing, and understanding. But over time, I’ve learned that grounding is just as important as expanding.

My advice to beginners: don’t rush past the root chakra.

Build a relationship with yourself. Learn what makes you feel safe. Learn your patterns. Learn your triggers. Learn how to trust your own voice before you spend too much time trying to interpret signs from everywhere else.

A lot of spiritual growth isn’t flashy. It looks like keeping your word to yourself. Setting boundaries. Taking accountability. Creating stability. Being honest about where you are.

These days, I show my practice less because I’m busy living it.

The deeper I get into this work, the less interested I am in performing spirituality and the more interested I am in embodying it.

Ground first. Everything else has somewhere to land after that. ❤️
