Honored to Meet Leaders in Peptide & Regenerative Medicine 🙏❤️
It was truly our pride and honor to meet Dr. Kris Wusterhausen, DO, alongside the incredibly brilliant global neurointerventional surgeon, Dr. Hasnain Haider Shah.
Dr. Kris is a member of the FDA’s Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee (PCAC), a committee that provides recommendations to the FDA regarding pharmacy compounding, including the recent review of several peptides for potential inclusion on the list of bulk drug substances that may be used by compounding pharmacies.
This work has gained significant attention under Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as the FDA has been evaluating whether restrictions on certain peptides should be changed. Importantly, the committee provides recommendations—the final regulatory decisions remain with the FDA. (U.S. Food and Drug Administration)
When we met Dr. Kris, he shared valuable insights into the discussions surrounding peptide access, safety, and responsible medical use. What resonated with us most was the importance of education, appropriate patient access, consistency, quality, and safety.
This aligns closely with our mission: to educate healthcare professionals and promote responsible, evidence-informed, and safe practices for our patients.
