Healing doesn’t begin after surgery. Preparation matters, too.

Behind these three chambers is some of the most meaningful work we do at Desert Moon Hyperbarics & Wellness.

Every day, we have the privilege of supporting patients preparing for surgery and navigating their recovery afterward.

Surgery places tremendous demands on the body. Tissue repair, inflammation, circulation, and cellular recovery all require oxygen.

That’s where hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) comes in.

By increasing oxygen delivery to tissues, HBOT supports important physiological processes involved in healing, including:

✧ Tissue oxygenation and cellular repair
✧ Collagen production and tissue regeneration
✧ Formation of new blood vessels
✧ The body’s inflammatory response
✧ Healing of certain compromised wounds and tissues

Research continues to explore the benefits of HBOT before and after surgery, with particularly promising applications in complex wound healing and compromised tissue.

At Desert Moon, we believe thoughtful surgical preparation and individualized recovery support deserve just as much attention as the procedure itself.

We had the incredible honor of hosting The Mom’s Wedding of Zo’s Braveheart’s Zo’s Bravehearts Foundation at Desert Moon Wellness.

Our intention was simple: create a space for connection, nourishment, relaxation, and nervous system restoration.

A curated wellness experiences including BrainTap, PEMF, NanoVi, and red light therapy, we invited each mother to slow down, decompress, and receive.

The afternoon was made even more special with meaningful permanent bracelets, a beautiful tea experience, nourishing food, and the warmth of an incredible community coming together.

Each mother was gifted seven complimentary BrainTap Technologies sessions from Welcome Home: A Nervous System Reset for Mothers on ALIGN

🌙🧠 World Mental Health Day | October 10

Brain health is mental health.

This belief is more than a philosophy at Desert Moon Hyperbarics and Wellness. It is the foundation upon which we were built and a mission we carry forward every day.

The brain featured behind our hyperbaric chambers holds a very special meaning. It was created in honor of Dr. Kelly Ryder, our original Medical Director, whose passion and vision helped shape the heart of Desert Moon. Although he is no longer with us, the mission we began together continues to guide everything we do.

Today, that same brain is woven into the lotus of our new logo.
A reflection of our belief in the powerful connection between the brain, nervous system, cellular health, and whole-body wellness.

We believe mental well-being cannot be separated from physical well-being. How we nourish our bodies, manage stress, support our nervous systems, prioritize restorative sleep, and create opportunities for recovery all contribute to our overall health.

It’s why we are so passionate about bringing education, innovative wellness technologies, and a more connected approach to health to our Las Vegas community.

On this World Mental Health Day, we honor the importance of caring for the mind, supporting the brain, and remembering that healing is a journey that deserves both science and compassion.

3½ years later.

This stack means more to us than most people probably realize.

When Cory got sick and was diagnosed with ANCA-associated vasculitis/GPA in 2023 along with seven bands of Lyme, we completely overhauled our lives. We went back to the foundations and built a protocol around supporting his body from every direction we could.

Hyperbaric. Light therapy. Foundational and functional wellness. And Pulse PEMF + NanoVi, this exact cellular stack.

It became an essential part of what we were doing then, and 3½ years later, it still is.

The coolest part of this video is what Cory told me that morning: his cellular health feels better than it ever has. 🥹

And here we are again reassessing, revamping the lifestyle, getting back to our foundations and continuing to do the work. Because wellness isn’t something you finish.

I love thinking about how many people we’ve been able to introduce to this same stack since.

October 1. 🤍

For Las Vegas, this date will forever mean something.

October 1, 2017 changed our city forever. Today, we remember the lives lost, the survivors, their families, the first responders, and every person whose life was forever changed that night.

For me personally, October 1 also became a defining moment.

In the days surrounding that tragedy, I knew with absolute certainty that Las Vegas was where we were meant to plant our roots and, one day, create Desert Moon.

I didn’t know exactly what it would look like yet. I didn’t know the road that would lead us here.

I just knew I wanted to serve this community.

Years later, that calling became Desert Moon Wellness, a place created to support people in healing, recovery, resilience, and becoming stronger from the inside out.

So today isn’t about promoting what we do.

It’s about remembering why we are here.

We remember.
We honor.
We serve.

Always Vegas. Always Strong.
