Our dear friend passed away unexpectedly Saturday March 5th. The Bartolo family is devastated by this loss, as are the many friends, and co-workers left behind. John is survived by his one month old son Teddy, and the love of his life,

John and Lacey have been leaders in our community. Their love of life and passion to contribute to society has inspired thousands. While John’s memory will be honored in a Celebration of his Life, many people have asked how they can help his family at this most difficult time.

We have decided to offer our support by hosting a silent auction at Viva Hair Studio, where 100% of the proceeds will be gifted to John’s family. We will also be donating all proceeds from product sales and services as well.

This little light of mine…. I’m going to let her shine. I find myself in the principal’s office every year. My girls take turns giving me opportunities to show up for them. I’ll start by saying, I still hate school. Yet I’ve managed to convince my girls that it’s fun and important. Every year someone new feels the need to belittle, scream, and destroy a child’s spirit. It’s not ok. We all have a choice every morning to go to work or find a new path. I hope if I suddenly start waking up angry and burning everyone’s hair off, someone looks me in the eyes and tells me to quit. I want to make the world a better place, and uplift those around me. I will always show up for my girls and continue to teach them to show up for themselves.

Merry Christmas, from my family to yours. I’m so grateful for my girls and all the happiness and crazy that comes with them. This year has been full of opportunities to love more and grow more.
