When Marie first came to Egoscue, she had already completed physical therapy following a total knee replacement. She had also been born with Erb’s palsy, a condition that contributed to ongoing shoulder issues and eventually led to a shoulder replacement.
But something still wasn’t right.
She struggled with walking, felt unstable, and described herself as doing the “old folk shuffle.” Stairs felt uncomfortable, sports were off the table, and she worried about falling.
Her goal wasn’t just less pain.
She wanted to feel confident in her body again.
Through consistent, personalized corrective exercises, Marie improved her posture, restored balance and stability, and began moving with confidence.
Today, she’s back to bicycling, walking, hiking, and enjoying the activities she loves.
One of my favorite things she said was:
“I have a comfortable, confident stance that allows me to move without fear of falling or stumbling.”
That right there is why I do what I do.
We don’t just help people feel better. We help them get their lives back.
Thank you, Marie, for trusting the process and allowing me to be part of your journey. ❤️
