Hormonal changes can affect how you feel in ways that are easy to overlook.

BHRT is one approach that may help support the body through these changes by using hormones that are structurally identical to those naturally produced by the body.

The right approach is personal. Understanding your symptoms, hormones, and overall health are important parts of the conversation.

💬 Comment “LAB” if you’ve ever had your thyroid checked but never had your antibody levels explained. 👇

Thyroid health isn’t always about TSH alone.

Thyroid antibodies can provide important information about autoimmune thyroid activity and may help identify people who are at greater risk of developing thyroid dysfunction over time even when thyroid hormone levels are currently in the normal range.

Research has also found connections between thyroid autoimmunity and conditions such as celiac disease and other autoimmune disorders, while thyroid antibodies can be particularly relevant when evaluating fertility or pregnancy concerns.

Having positive antibodies doesn’t automatically mean you will develop hypothyroidism or experience complications. Your results need to be interpreted alongside your symptoms, thyroid function tests, and medical history.

💬 Comment “LAB” if you want to learn more about thyroid antibodies and what they may reveal.

Save this post and share it with someone who needs to know that thyroid health involves more than one number.

Getting older brings change, but not every change should be dismissed as “just aging.”

If your energy feels different, your weight seems harder to manage, or you’re not sleeping or thinking as clearly as you used to, it’s worth paying attention. These changes can have many contributing factors, including stress, sleep, thyroid function, hormones, nutrition, and lifestyle.

You don’t have to assume something is wrong, and you don’t have to blame yourself either. Sometimes, understanding what’s changed is the first step toward feeling more like yourself again.

If you’ve been noticing changes that don’t feel like your usual self, you can learn more and connect with Clave Health through the link in bio.

Not every symptom you experience during perimenopause is necessarily caused by changing hormones.

Thyroid changes can sometimes cause symptoms that look very similar including fatigue, brain fog, weight changes, hair changes, feeling cold, and mood changes.

That’s why understanding the full picture matters. Your symptoms are information, and getting to the right answers starts with paying attention to what your body is telling you.

💬 Comment “ROOT” if you’ve ever wondered whether your symptoms could be connected to your thyroid. 👇

Hair falling out. Feeling cold when everyone else is comfortable. Unexplained weight changes. Brain fog. Constipation. Puffy eyes. Dry skin. Mood changes. Heart palpitations.

These symptoms can be frustrating because they don’t always look like a “thyroid problem” on the surface. And importantly, each symptom can have multiple possible causes so the goal isn’t to assume it’s your thyroid, but to recognize patterns and investigate appropriately.

Your thyroid influences metabolism, energy, digestion, temperature regulation, skin, hair, mood, and cardiovascular function. When something feels consistently different, it deserves to be discussed rather than automatically dismissed.

Your body is changing. Your care should, too.

Perimenopause and menopause can bring changes you never expected. Your sleep may feel different. Your energy may shift. Your mood, weight, focus, and overall sense of well-being may change, too.

And while these changes are common, that doesn’t mean you have to simply live with them.

At Clave Health, we believe your care should evolve with you. We take the time to understand what you’re experiencing, look at the bigger picture, and create a personalized approach to your hormone health.

Because this season of life deserves more than “just getting through it.”

It deserves care that listens, understands, and supports you.

Comment “ROOT” if you want to learn more about the hormones that often get overlooked in women’s health. 👇

Most women hear about estrogen and progesterone but testosterone deserves a place in the conversation too.

Testosterone plays a role in women’s muscle, energy, motivation, mood, bone health, and sexual function. As women move through perimenopause and menopause, hormone levels can change, and some women notice shifts in energy, drive, strength, or libido.

But symptoms like fatigue or low mood can have many causes, so they shouldn’t automatically be blamed on testosterone alone. Understanding your symptoms alongside your health history and appropriate testing can provide a much clearer picture.

At Cleave Health, we believe women deserve a more complete conversation about their hormones.
