This session challenges the traditional view of insurance denials by reframing them as actionable signals—revealing payer criteria, documentation gaps, system inefficiencies, and opportunities to strengthen the path to treatment.
Drawing from experience in cardiovascular and rare disease specialty medication access, Amanda will explore how nurses, pharmacists, prescribers, payers, manufacturers, and patient assistance programs can work together to transform fragmented processes into coordinated pathways for access.
Attendees will gain practical strategies for strengthening clinical narratives, improving appeals, building scalable workflows, and combining scientific rigor with intentional belief in pursuing evidence-based care.
