Life update: we bought a home! 🏡
I’ve been pretty quiet here for a while, but there’s been a lot happening behind the scenes. This past year has brought some big changes for our family. After 20 years in the military, my husband retired and began training for his new career with United Airlines. We’ve been in The Woodlands for over a year now, renting while we figured out this next phase of life. He’s officially been with United for over a year, and we both feel more settled in our careers and in this new chapter.
After a lot of ups and downs over the past several years, we’re ready to put down roots. This is the first home we’ve owned together, and we’re so excited to make it ours. I’m very excited to paint and customize this home for our family! And yes, we’re especially excited about the pool, Texas summers are brutal! ☀️
All of this has also been a reminder I want to share here: healthy eating doesn’t have to be perfect to count. Life gets crazy. Routines change. Sometimes “good enough” looks like simple meals, takeout, drinking water when you remember, and giving yourself room to breathe.
Nutrition should support your life, not become one more thing to feel guilty about. We all move through different seasons at different times, and we deserve to meet ourselves with a little grace along the way.
What season are you in right now? 🖤
