If the last few years have been filled with losses, lessons, blessings, trials, and transformations that have stretched you to your limit or stripped you down to your core, perhaps it is time to sit among people who are willing to witness, hold, and tend what remains.
Come to The Wellspring Gathering.

Grief tending is not about getting rid of grief. It is not an attempt to erase what happened, forget who or what was lost, or rush ourselves toward being “over it.”
I think of grief tending like preparing tea in my grandmother’s whistling kettle.
The water is placed over the fire. Slowly, the temperature rises. Things begin bubbling beneath the surface. Pressure builds until the kettle finally cries out.
That whistle is not a sign that something has gone wrong.
It is a signal.
The water is ready.
The cry tells us that it is time to remove the kettle from the fire. It is time to pour. That you are ready to allow the Divine and the light into that very dark place. It is time for the heated water to meet the herbs and become something it could not become while still cold, sealed inside the kettle.
Our grief also needs a safe place to pour out.
It needs healthy release. It needs witnessing. It needs someone who will not turn away from the tears, the silence, the anger, the trembling, or even the scream. It needs space for the unseen parts of us to be acknowledged before sorrow settles into isolation, shame, or guilt.
Shame and guilt tend to grow in darkness. But when they are brought into the compassionate presence of another, they can begin to loosen their hold.
The purpose of grief tending is not to eradicate grief. It is to arrive at a place where grief feels safe enough to be woven into the larger tapestry of our lives.
There, grief becomes one thread among many: sorrow, joy, peace, endurance, remembrance, gratitude, and so much love.
Over time, the memories we once struggled to carry may begin to rest differently upon us. They may rest around our hearts and across our shoulders like a cloak of comfort, remembrance, and peace.
At The Wellspring Gathering, we are making room for this kind of tending. Not to fix one another, but to witness one another. Not to force healing, but to create a sacred space where what has been held inside may finally be heard, poured, and received.
If something inside you recognizes this invitation, come sit with us.
