Quality Enterprises of Lawton is looking for a few good people who want to make a difference in our community.

We are currently seeking individuals interested in serving on the QEOL Board of Directors.

Our board helps guide an organization dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to live full, connected, and independent lives. We’re looking for people who care about our community, believe everyone deserves opportunity and belonging, and are willing to bring their experience, perspective, and time to the table.

You don’t have to come from a particular industry or have previous board experience. We value people who are dependable, thoughtful, community-minded, and ready to contribute.

Update: so far we’ve trapped 5 raccoons 🦝

But, we still have more. And they’re lurking and watching us with glowing eyes from the top our giant house that they’re trying to take over from us.

Thank you Lawton Animal Control for coming to retrieve the raccoons after we trapped them. We’re glad we didn’t have to do that!

Caught a marshmallow bandit!!! 🦝 The Round 2 setup worked. 🙌

We called non-emergency dispatch and Lawton Animal Control will come retrieve it.

Round 2 with these raccoons is live now. 🦝

The crafty raccoons successfully retrieved all the Round 1 marshmallows. But, we’re back! 👊

And we’ve done this much smarter this time, securing the cage and side walls around the food, and that door should be on hair trigger settings now! 🔥

Will update with progress or new learning tomorrow.
