Not every old brow tattoo can be refreshed, and I'll always be upfront about that.

If there's too much old pigment packed in, I'll refer you to laser removal before we even think about touching it. But this client was a great candidate. She had microblading done several years ago and was ready for a shape that matches how she fills her brows in today. So we refreshed, reshaped, and brought her fully up to date.

The term “permanent makeup” can actually be a little misleading.

PMU is designed to be a semi-permanent solution that saves you time while still keeping results soft and natural-looking. Unlike traditional body tattoo ink, the pigments used in permanent makeup are specifically formulated to gradually fade over time.

This is intentional. As trends, preferences, facial features, and skin change over the years, your PMU should be able to evolve with you, not leave behind a harsh or overly saturated result.

Most clients will need a refresh every 12–24 months to maintain their desired look and keep everything healed beautifully 🖤
