🎉 ONE YEAR OF DREAMS, GROWTH & GRATITUDE! 🎉

Today marks one year since we received the keys to our building and took the first big step toward making a vision a reality. We started with a big dream, 9 employees, and SO much excitement about what was ahead.

We are incredibly grateful to the people who helped us get here:

And today? We are just as excited—if not more! Our vision has grown, our team has grown to 28 incredible employees, and we’re still growing! 🙌

We now proudly offer Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Photodynamic Therapy, and the latest biologic treatments, with services available in Lawton, Altus, and Chickasha.

Most importantly, our mission remains the same: to provide the people of Southwest Oklahoma with excellent service and top-tier dermatologic healthcare close to home, so they don’t have to travel far to receive the care they deserve.

🎳 Teamwork, Laughter & a Little Friendly Competition! 🎳

We took a break from scrubs and schedules to celebrate the hardworking team at Carter Dermatology with an evening of bowling, laughs, and just a little competitive spirit! 😜

I’m incredibly proud to work alongside such an amazing group of people who show up every day with heart, dedication, and a genuine desire to serve others. ❤️

Our team may not agree on who has the best bowling skills… 😂🎳 but we can all agree that we have something pretty special at Carter Dermatology!

Grateful for this crew and all they do! 🫶✨

Carter Dermatology will be closed Thursday and Friday, July 30-31, as our team takes a short summer break.

We hope you're enjoying a fun, safe, and relaxing summer with family and friends! ☀️

While you're out making memories, don't forget to protect your skin:
🧴 Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher.
🕶️ Wear protective clothing, hats, and sunglasses.
🌳 Seek shade during peak sun hours whenever possible.
💧 Stay hydrated and enjoy the sunshine safely!

We are honored to share that TODAY Carter Dermatology is beginning a new chapter with the opening of an additional location to better serve our surrounding communities.

In less than seven months since opening, we have seen firsthand the growing need for accessible, high-quality dermatologic care across Southwest Oklahoma. We are grateful for the trust placed in us and are committed to continuing to meet that need with excellence and compassion.

Starting today, Dr. Carter and his dedicated team will be traveling to Altus on Wednesday’s to care for patients at our new location, conveniently situated next to Jackson County Memorial Hospital:
