BREAKING NEWS FROM DOWNTOWN LE ROY:
A local gentleman was having one of those days. He walked into a pharmacy behind Aanaya Pharmacy and was greeted with a medication bill that could probably finance a small vacation.
After receiving the shocking news, he decided he needed a moment to regroup. Not wanting to sit inside, he stepped outside and discovered Le Roy’s brand-new community bench.
A few minutes later, he reportedly said:
“This is the best town around. The people on the committee really care about us.”
The medication may have cost $1,000, but the bench therapy was absolutely FREE. 😆
In fact, rumors are spreading that the bench has already been approved for:
✅ Stress relief after prescription prices
✅ Cooling-off periods after insurance phone calls
✅ Car show viewing
✅ Parade seating
✅ Road show VIP seating
✅ Watching who comes in and out of Aanaya Pharmacy
One resident was overheard saying:
“I came here upset about my prescription. I left feeling better… and I didn’t even sit inside the pharmacy.”
Meanwhile, the team at Aanaya Pharmacy would like to thank the Village of Le Roy and everyone involved in bringing these benches downtown. They are already serving an important community purpose:
Providing a safe place to sit while recovering from pharmacy sticker shock. 🤣
All jokes aside, these benches are a wonderful addition to downtown and will be enjoyed for years during parades, car shows, festivals, and everyday conversations among neighbors.
