Tomorrow, I have the privilege of giving back in a small way.

As a licensed medical massage therapist for the past 14 years, I've had the honor of walking alongside people through surgery recovery, chronic pain, injuries, and some of life's hardest seasons. Some of the most meaningful moments have been caring for those battling cancer.

Because of that, tomorrow (June 30th), I am personally offering TWO FREE 60-minute massage appointments for individuals currently undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment.

Sometimes healing looks like prayer.
Sometimes it looks like wisdom.
And sometimes it looks like a few octopus kisses. 🐙💜

These marks are left behind by cupping therapy. While they may look dramatic, they're simply a result of the suction drawing circulation into the area and helping lift restrictions in the tissues.

Shoulder pain isn't always a shoulder problem.

💧 What is a seroma?

A seroma is a collection of fluid that can sometimes develop after surgery. While common, it can contribute to swelling, discomfort, and concerns during the recovery process.

In this video, Tara, RN and Medical Massage Therapist, explains what a seroma is and why post-operative lymphatic drainage massage can be an important part of supporting the body's healing process after surgery.

Shanleigh Wingate did an amazing job stretching soooo many people today at the South Side Roller Derby game! We had an amazing day! The games were nail biters. And Shanleigh was there to help the players and the spectators.
