The Secret Place isn’t a physical location.
It’s the sanctuary of abiding.
It’s where our hearts turn their attention toward God and rest in His presence. It’s communion. Surrender. Dependence. Trust.
Sometimes entering that place means finding a quiet moment wherever we can. Maybe you’re a busy mom who slips into the bathroom for five minutes while everyone is safe and occupied. Maybe it’s stepping outside to take a few deep breaths. Maybe it’s a quiet moment or a short walk before the day begins.
The location isn’t what makes it sacred.
The secret place is not about where we are- it’s about where our hearts dwell.
We can enter the secret place in a crowded room, during a morning walk, while washing dishes, or sitting in silence before the Lord.
“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1
Running on empty isn’t a flex- it’s exhausting. We weren’t created to live depleted. He reminds us that we weren’t created to strive endlessly; we can abide deeply.
There, we find rest for our souls, strength for today, and grace for whatever tomorrow brings.
“What does entering the secret place look like for you?”
