Help us welcome Victoria, COTA/L, to The Play Hut family! 💛

We’re excited to have her join our Occupational Therapy team and support our kiddos as they grow, learn, play, and become more independent. If you haven’t met her yet at the Pounding Mill location, you are going to love her!

Please give Victoria a big Play Hut welcome! 🥳👏

🚪🎉 IT’S TIME TO VOTE! 🎉🚪

Our Play Hut Deck The Doors Contest is officially here, and we need YOU — our families, friends, and community — to help choose our winners! 🏆

These aren’t just doors decorated by our therapists! ❤️ Over the past few weeks, our therapists have been getting our kiddos involved in creating and decorating their doors during therapy sessions. From painting and coloring to crafting and creating pieces for the displays, our kids helped bring these doors to life! 🎨✂️🖍️

Now it’s time to show off all of their hard work!

👇 HOW TO VOTE:

1️⃣ Scroll through all of the door photos in this post. Each door has a number located in the TOP LEFT-HAND CORNER of the picture. 🔢

2️⃣ In the comments below, you’ll find 4 separate comments from The Play Hut — one for each award category.

3️⃣ Reply directly under EACH category comment with the NUMBER of the door you think should win that category.

⚠️ Please do not put all 4 votes in one comment! Find each category comment below and reply directly underneath it with your choice. This will help us keep all of the votes organized and counted correctly.

🏆 THE CATEGORIES:

🌟 Best Overall Door — Your favorite door of them all!

🎨 Most Creative — The most unique and imaginative door!

🎭 Best Theme Representation — The door that brought its chosen theme to life the best!

🧒🎨 Best Kid Participation — The door that best showcases the creativity, artwork, and participation of our Play Hut kiddos!

✨ You may vote ONE time in EACH category. You can choose a different door for each category, or the same door can receive your vote in more than one category.

⏰ VOTING CLOSES MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28TH AT 5:00 PM!

Our therapists and kiddos have had so much fun creating these together, and we can’t wait to see which doors take home the awards! 🏆❤️

👇 Check out the doors, find the number in the top left corner of each photo, and CAST YOUR VOTES below!

We’re so sad to see one of our own go, but so excited for what’s ahead for her! 🤍

Ms.Kaitlyn is trading Virginia for Texas and heading off on a brand-new adventure. We’re incredibly thankful for the time she’s spent at The Play Hut and for all the kiddos and families she’s loved on along the way.

She’ll definitely be missed around here and there will not be near as many giggles from her stories, but we’re cheering her on as she starts this next chapter. Texas is lucky to have you! 🤠💛

We love you! 🥰

💛 A Note to Our PlayHut Families About Back-to-School Scheduling 💛✏️🚌✂️

As everyone heads back to school, we know many families are requesting after-school therapy appointments. We completely understand the desire to avoid missing school whenever possible!

Unfortunately, there are far more children needing therapy than there are therapists and after-school appointment times available. While we do our very best to accommodate everyone’s schedule, we simply cannot guarantee an after-school spot for every child.

If your child needs to attend therapy during the school day, we are happy to provide a school excuse. We will also work with you to find appointment times that minimize missed instruction and avoid important parts of your child’s school day whenever possible.

Please remember that the beginning of the school year brings a tremendous number of schedule-change requests all at once. Our team is working hard to accommodate as many families as possible while also making sure every child receives the care they need.

We appreciate your patience, flexibility, and understanding as we work through the back-to-school transition. 💛

Thank you for trusting The PlayHut with your child’s care! 🧸
